Flat bottom canvas pouch featuring modified antique artwork, embroidered design, a debossed logo charm zipper pull, and contrasting patterned cotton lining. Design pattern placement is random, making each pouch one-of-a-kind.

As part of our Memento lookbook, this design was inspired by European flea market finds, vintage French textile art, and mid-century style drawings that hearken back to Fringe’s classic design roots.

JOLIE
A late 19th century French textile painting redrawn by Fringe artists. The large original painting is 24″ x 29,” and is a vibrant watercolor painted on very thin paper. The art is filled with thick vines, which are decorated with exaggerated leaves and stylized French flowers. A Fringe artist has redrawn the art and simplified the forms to reflect a more modern sensibility. The result is a light and classic one-color version of the antique art.
